At Lismore, her home track, she has won in scorching times like 23.68 and 29.49.

Her 29.49 is the third fastest winning time by a female ever at Albion Park.

A daughter of champion sire Barcia Bale she is bred on the same Barcia Bale/Magic Sprite cross as former Qld GOTY Fast Times, a mating also put together by Pedigrees By Design.

But, every breeder of greyhounds should take a long, hard look at the pedigree of her dam Fay's Magic (Magic Sprite-All Hands On by Bombastic Shiraz).

This bitch was a classy galloper winning a Lismore Distance Title but significantly proving herself at the best level when second in a Clem Jones Cup and being a finalist in the G3 Qld Cup both at Albion Park.

The pedigree of Fay's Magic is saturated with the blood of legends like National Lass, but just as much saturated with the famed Zulu Moss family.

Ruby Hand is Rich Hand-Berrie's Lass and this pedigree brings a 2x2 cross of the genetic sister and brother National Desire (West Cape-National Lass) and Little Denver (Worth Doing-National Lass). Remember, West Cape and Worth Doing are both sons of Brother Fox.

Little Denver is incestuously in-bred to Zimbabwe and her litter brother Chief Dingaan (Temlee-Zulu Moss).

It introduced National Dingaan a litter sister to Little Denver and genetic sister to National Desire ... who are already found in Ruby Hand. Thus, by the time we get to the Magic Sprite-All Hands On litter, we have a litter that contains an absolute saturation of two of the greatest females of all time, National Lass and Zulu Moss.

Obviously, we cannot continue to in-breed so hard to this family, so when Fay's Magic proved herself a Group class race bitch on the racetrack, when time came to mate her, Fred Swain needed to look elsewhere for a prospective sire.

He asked his mate Robert Cooke for some advice and Cookie came to Pedigrees By Design and we immediately suggested Barcia Bale ... who already had proven his worth with daughters of Magic Sprite and continues to do so.

The result ... All Hands Off a 29.49 Albion Park winner.

Fred and his mate, Mark Wilkes, have already highlighted Zambora Brockie as a potential mate for All Hands Off when her sensational race career comes to a close. Now that too is a highly proven cross.

Brockie does exceptionally well when he links up with bitches that carry Barcia Bale, Magic Sprite and Bombastic Shiraz ... all of who are found in the pedigree of All Hands Off.

It is a replica of the pedigree of champion Orson Allen a son of KC And All and out of Barcia Bale's litter sister Desalle Bale.

Those who love to further the cause of outcross matings will he in praise of the pedigree of Aston Fastnet, and of course Orson Allen.

BUT, KC And All is in-bred 3x3 to US legend Dutch Bahama who is saturated with Aussie bloodlines. Is this why he has become so successful as a sire in this country? I would think so.

Dutch Bahama is in-bred to the brothers Tell You Why, Magic Babe and Sky Jet (Rocket Jet-Gorgeous Babe) and this is the same direct female family as Temlee. And, he also carries a cross of Aussie broodbitch legend Elsie Moss in his damline and we all know she is EVERYWHERE in pedigrees in this country.

NANDO Dreamer was impressive when narrowly winning the Young Guns final at Ipswich on Saturday night.

The daughter of Fernando Bale-Jeannie Dreaming by Paw Licking has been scorching around the tracks of late. Her dam won 24 races and is a litter sister to Claude Dacey's grand sprinter Corykodi (35 wins, $137,000).

But what interested me the most is that Nando Dreamer traces directly to imported bitch Ballybeg Saga (Lively Band-Ballybeg Gem) whose third dam Ballybeg Pride was the dam of All Americans Evening Glamour and Share Profit. She was also the dam of Ballybeg Prim the English Derby runner-up who came to Australia for stud duties.

But, also along the direct damline of Nando Dreamer is Brute Girl a Curryhill Brute-Display Girl bitch who was a half sister to the flying Deep North the runner-up in a National Derby and a handy stud dog.
