Canya All Class
CANYA All Class landed a heat of the G1 Bold Trease at The Meadows oat Sandown on Saturday night and Dakota Rylen won the G3 Brian Johnstone Memorial at Angle Park.
The pair are both by Shima Shine and have a duplication and balance of Collision in their pedigree.
That duplication of Collision in city winning progeny of Shima Shine is becoming a strong theme.
Canya All Class is Shime Shine-Spritely Ebony by Magic Sprite.
The winner of the G1 Topgun Stayers, he is also line bred 2x2 to Barcia Bale and Magic Sprite a proven theme found in the pedigree of Fast Times and Zack Monelli.
Daokta Rylen is Shima Shine-Dakota Roxy by Fernando Bale.
The Shima Shine/Fernando Bale cross is also proving very prolific. It is found in G1 stars Exploded and Mepunga Shine and plenty of others with great ability.
I’ve been watching that Aston Rupee-Flying Smooth by Fabregas litter for some time now and the two bitches Flying Dinar and Flying Envy are something else.
Flying Envy won her heat of the G1 Bold Trease.
They carry a 3x2 of Aston Elle and Fabregas and they have much in common.
Both are by Bombastic Shiraz and they carry Goddess Of Fire and her brother Awesome Assassin in their respective damlines, the latter pair littermates by Light Of Fire-Tranquil Flame.
Aston Elle and Fabregas are a perfect “balance” for each other.
With Aston Rupee by the US stud great KC And All, he was always going to need in-breeding to his own damline to help him succeed at stud.
That’s what he got in spades with Flying Envy.
The recent Meadows winner Paw Ucolta (Christo Bale-Winnie Allen by Fernando Bale) has a pedigree that deserves study.
I have always thought Christo Bale would be well with daughters of Fernando Bale.
That’s because Christo Bale’s damsire is Turanza Bale. He is bred on an identical cross to Fernando Bale’s dam Chloe Allen.
They are both by Primo Uno, both have Head Honcho in their damline and both come from the Gail’s Beauty female family.
Turanza Bale and Fernando Bale have already combined in the pedigree of G1 winners Embrace and Bronski Beat.
But, Paw Ucolta is also in-bred 3x3 to the littermates Princess Bale and Bartrim Bale.
The recent Angle Park winner National Grid (Fernando Bale-Irapsag Miss by Worm Burner) is a litter brother to classy Colac Kid.
I know the line so very, very well having raced with my mate Randall Irapsag Miss’ litter brothers Shorino and Tevita Shadow, both fast Albion Park winners with Shorino a multiple Group finalist.
Their dam Sidney’s Shadow is bred on a reverse Mogambo/Collision cross to Feral Franky and Good Odds Harada.
Worm Burner is bred on an identical pattern to Fernando Bale.
