LITTLE Earner's slick victory at Angle Park last Thursday night continued her unbeaten record of six for six.
The daughter of Barcia Bale-Magic Earner by High Earner has an imposing pedigree of dominant ancestors, proven patterns and a damline that is among the very, very best there is.
Seven of this litter have been named and already six are winners even though they have just turn two. Also in Little Earner's litter is Canya Lilly (6 wins, $15,000).
The pedigree designed to produce Little Earner is simply superb.
Dam Magic Earner was a classy race bitch winning 17 times and earning $86,000. She was successful to 720m at Wentworth Park.
This is the famed "Osti" female family tracing to Paris Match (dam of Bobniak, the damsire of legends Hallucinate and Where's Pedro etc).
Therein lies the first dramatic impact in the pedigree of Little Earner.
Paris Match is duplicated in her pedigree coming via Bobniak (in Barcia Bale's damline via Hallucinate) and through her daughter Undermatched (3rd dam of Little Earner).
The Osti family has always done well when reinforced within itself. Many, many city winners and a smattering of Group stars by Barcia Bale carry Where's Pedro in their dam.
But, Little Earner's second dam Magic Capers is bred on the very same cross of Spiral Nikita/Golden Currency as Buttsie Bale the damsire of Barcia Bale's champion performer Dyna Double One.
The commonality of Little Earner's pedigree does not stop there.
Go Wild Teddy is grandsire of Little Earner. Her dam Magic Earner (High Earner-Magic Capers) has champion Collision as her grandsire.
Go Wild Teddy and Collision are both bred on the cross of the famous half brothers Acacia Park and Brother Fox.
Another interesting cross in the pedigree of Little Earner is between Go Wild Teddy and Double Guess (dam of High Earner). They come into the pedigree of Little Earner 2x3.
Both are bred on the Head Honcho/Malawi's Prince cross.
Magic Earner was mated to legend Brett Lee for her first mating, back in January 2017, and the litter was "OK". It produced 10 named offspring and nine of them won a total of 63 races and $133,000 in stakes.
In my opinion, the Barcia Bale mating was much better.
ALSO at Angle Park last Thursday night was Conner Peruzzi (Premier Boloney-Peruzzi by Magic Sprite) a youngster who will not be two until December but who has already won eight and been placed nine times in 18 starts.
The eight named offspring in this litter include seven who have already won.
Breeding enthusiasts should study, or at least take a meaningful look at, the pedigree of Conner Preuzzi.
Sire Premier Boloney is out of Miss Mini Mouse (Brett Lee-Leprechaun Yap). Dam Peruzzi is by Magic Sprite who is also by Brett Lee and from Glamorous who just happens to also be a daughter of Leprechaun Yap.
Thus, Conner Peruzzi is incestuously in-bred 2x2 to virtual sister and brother Miss Mini Mouse and Magic Sprite.
BUT, there is an added feature to this pedigree.
Dam Peruzzi also carries a 2x2 cross of Brett Lee and his half brother Big Daddy Cool (both out of Wee Sal's great producing daughter Sobbing Sal).
BUT, let's not stop there.
Peruzzi also traces along her direct damline to Cry Havoc who is by Head Honcho-Wee Sal.
Which means the pedigree of Conner Peruzzi brings in crosses of the Hall of Fame producer Wee Sal 5x5x5x5 and three of them are hugely positioned to impact with each other.
It would be my suggestion that a sister to Conner Peruzzi should make a superb broodbitch in the future ... but she will need to be mated to stud dogs that have no common ancestors to her own pedigree.
This will allow the absolute saturation of Wee Sal, and her daughter Sobbing Sal, in this pedigree to totally dominate any mating this sister to Conner Peruzzi may have.
Dam Peruzzi won 10 races at Albion Park and Angle Park. She is a litter sister to the ill-fated Simpatico (14 wins, $49,000) a triple Group finalist who tragically had to be put down after a racetrack accident.
It is the direct family of that famed Queensland race bitch Fifi She's Not.
