Zipping Rambo

MY Bro Fabio was a superstar race dog wining 26 races and $478,000 including Group 1 victories in the Perth Cup, Temlee and Hume Cup.

A son of Turanza Bale (also sire of champion Xylia Allen), his dam Flamenco (Where's Pedro-Zarbo) was a fine stayer from one of the most famous direct damlines this country has seen, that of the famed Hopeful Light coming down via Spanish Dance.

Fabio has been a fine stud dog.
His best attribute for his offspring is the strength they possess. It augurs well for him to be a top class broodbitch sire and already he is the damsire of a Fernando Bale litter that includes Group finalists Ice Cream Story and Teddy The Bear.

Which brings me to an exciting dog called Zipping Rambo who is a "clone" of My Bro Fabio.
Zipping Rambo is by Mister Twister-Zipping Maggie by Turanza Bale.
Everything about the pedigree of Zipping Rambo is the same as My Bro Fabio.

They both carry Turanza Bale, they both carry Where's Pedro and they both stem from the famed Hopeful Light/Spanish Dance family.

Their pedigrees are just juggled about a bit.
Zipping Rambo is a powerhouse middle distance dog who has already won in 33.66 at Sandown just the sort of impressive times My Bro Fabio could run and Fabio did it coming from behind.

The success of Zipping Rambo, and his handy littermates including Zipping Sheldon, should prove to breeders that we can recreate pedigrees of famous race dogs and expect city winning success if we do just that.

Mind you, it should be taken into account that Zipping Rambo's dam Zipping Maggie (17 wins, $170,000) was a pretty good starting point.

She twice won the G3 Chairman's Cup at Wenty and was a finalist at Group 1 level in the Bold Trease, Association Cup, Sandown Cup and Albion Park Gold Cup.

Zipping Rambo is her best produce to date from a number of litters, few that seemed to suit her as much as that which came up with Rambo.

Zipping Rambo has only one sister in his litter, a bitch called Zipping Annabel the winner of eight races. Her pedigree would suggest she could be a broodbitch success in the future, especially in a mating to Fernando Bale.
Turanza Bale (damsire of Annabel) is bred identically to Fernando Bale's dam Chloe Allen.

Fernando Bale is the sire of Group 1 Sandown Cup winner Bronski Beat to a daughter of Turanza Bale.
